I don’t understand
I ordered a little package from this wonderful lady who is a vegan and supports animal rights. There was a PETA booklet, and it had graphic pictures of what they do in farms/slaughter houses and testing on animals. I can’t get the pictures out of my head and I cry every time I look at them.
I’ve been a vegetarian before (for over a year) but then for some reason, I converted back to meat-eating, which I have regrets about. I think I did it because my mother moved out and my parents got divorced and I was left with my father so I thought I’d make it easier on him if I just ate the meat he cooked.
I want to be a vegan so bad, and I eat that way during the day. But when my dad comes home, he’ll pull out steak for dinner or pizza with peperoni or bacon. It gets me so frustrated because I feel he doesn’t respect my decision to be a vegan as a young adult. I get very depressed over it. Even when I was a vegeterian, he played what I found a cruel trick on me, saying he got some food that isn’t meat and tried to force me to eat it, and it was chicken.
I just get so frustrated and I don’t know how to deal? I hate meat and he knows it, I’m always eating all my vegetables first yet he won’t let me make the own decision on how I want to live. What can I do?
We own our home no mortgage.my husband spent 17 years in the navy and I was in real-estate,but now we are under-employed and he is unemployed.my income is keeping us afloat but with 6 hungry kids their is nothing left over.I would hate to lose our home for property taxes.My husband is older and finding it hard to find a job that would even cover daycare expenses.
A week ago me and a few friends purchased an ouija board from an old thrift shop. We took it to my house that night and used it. Nothing happened so I decided to burn it. Now I’m hearing noises at night that ive never heard before. Sometimes my lamps will be thrown of the dresser, and I’ve even been pushed down my stairs. A day ago, I woke up with a strange burning feeling on my side so I went too go look in a mirror, and I was shocked to see there were 6 scratches, fairly deep ones at that. I own no animals. I need help before this gets worse.
I was born with a dislocated hip(left hip) and my biological parents didn’t get it fixed so i was taken away 8 months later and over the years i’ve had 4 surgeries on it and i have to have a complete replacement when i’m done growing..yesterday it popped one time that hurt really bad but i shook it off..then it popped 2 or 3 other times and when i got home i could barely walk..my left leg is about an inch shorter then my right now..i’ve tired to get ppl to take me to the doctor but they think i’m faking..i can’t put any pressure on it and it hurts when i try to bend my leg at the hip..if it is dislocated is there a way i can pop it back in place on my own?..no one else seems to care enough to take me to get it looked at..
I took a course through my college but it only taught the basics of HTML and CSS and there are no other courses available for web design. I believe I could learn this stuff on my own. What are the best sources/tutorials out there for really learning web design WELL?
In March my lease will be up. However, I got this apartment as a hookup from a friend, his father owned the building. I lost my job in August and I haven’t been able to find work nor pay the rent because it’s too expensive. Recently, my own landlord, my friend’s father lost the building and it is now owned by the state, NY.
It turns out my friend’s father was a crook. I come home and my gas, heat and hot water are off. And the lights in the hallway are off. The old landlord was tapping into my gas meter and I was supplying heat, gas and hot water to entire building. I just got a bill from national grid for $ 3,000. He has been doing this other tenants in the building and actually stealing their mail so they never say the high bill. The old landlord also never paid the electricity bill hence the hallway lights are off.
They told me to ignore the bill. However, they also took out my meter and they don’t know when they will fix it. So it’s been a little over a week with no gas, heat or hot water.
The no heat and hot water has been a constant problem since I’ve lived in the building. So I call the new landlord to complain, they basically said the entire building is a mess. They don’t even have a copy of my lease.
So I haven’t paid since August, I told them I would surrender the apartment in March when my lease is over and they can put me on a payment plan so I can pay the past rent. Honestly, I don’t want to pay anything from Dec-till March because of the constant issues I’ve had with the apartment.
How can I not pay for Dec-till March and avoid getting evicted until March?
The previous owner is on trail for indictment. Do I still have to pay him?

Talk show hosts are like superstars in the US. You mentioned Oprah. Along with Letterman, Leno, etc. It’s been tried here with Jonathon Ross since Jonathon Ross began back in the 80′s. He’s always based his style and show on the big American ones. His latest ITV show even looks like Jay Leno’s set.
But talk shows, or chat shows to give them their real British title, just aren’t held in the same regard here.
And Loose Women is middle to bottom of the pile of them over here.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall when Madsen finds out the reality. Perhaps he’ll go back to his management and suggest that they have to promote movies he’s working on through this top British talk show Loose Women. Not realising that it’s just 4 washed up old bags who were once slightly famous whinging about men with the odd guest coming on to talk about how they had a dreadful holiday etc.
Loose Women is just the TV equivalent of Take a Break magazine.
I found it most amusing when the twins said something like, “She must have all her fans coming down”, when referring to the live audience reactions.
I’m sorry, but I can’t imagine many pensioners, stay-at-home mums and habitual pot smokers making up a significant portion of the eviction audience.
